Montgomery County student, Emanuel Minja, is selected as the sole winner of this year’s Lawrence Hamm, Sr. scholarship for minority and disadvantaged youth scholarship. Mr. Minja demonstrated significant achievement in his academic record and also worked tirelessly to contribute to the community as a member of the Silver Spring (MD) Alumni Chapter’s Kappa League program throughout his High School tenure. The MKYF is happy to award Emanuel with this recognition and know that it will contribute to his success as he continues to pursue academic excellence in college.
