
Lorenza Cooper
President
Lorenza has served on the foundation board since 2017, collaborating to increase philanthropic scholarship awards for high school students.
Prior to founding Cooper Risk Management, Inc., a commercial independent insurance agency, he has held numerous leadership positions as an insurance executive to include Regional Vice President of Underwriting as well as Branch Vice President with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.
He also is a military veteran, retiring as a Brigadier General (MD) with over 30 years of service in the MDARNG. Lorenza holds a BBA degree from North Carolina Central University, an advanced leadership certification from Kellogg School of Management, and Certified Insurance Counsel (CIC) designation.
